NATURAL MAGIC |   ‘Natural Magic’ is a body of stereoscopic installation/artworks created as an interdisciplinary investigation into two-dimensional and three-dimensional awareness through the art and science of photography. It investigates areas of commonality between visual science and visual art in order to present a series of stereoscopic photographic images which reflect on a number of visual and psychological phenomena, whilst referring to themes relating to art, science, photography and optics. The research was presented through the solo exhibition 'Natural Magic', a series of ten stereoscopically arranged large-scale photographic installations and wall based works at The Royal Scottish Academy, Edinburgh in 2009. Every second image shows an anaglyph red/cyan 3D version of the previous image and can be viewed with the appropriate glasses.
